The latest stories from our website, including how local people are leading the way in community sponsorship and an important article exploring the increase in measles
Hello folks!
We’ve all been spoiled by the unusual spell of warm weather this spring but sadly this isn’t to last, as of tomorrow we’re expected get our first spot of rain in a wee while, although I’m sure that’s welcome news to the plants!
In this week’s newsletter we have lots of events on book launches and book buying events, so perhaps it’s the ideal time to grab something new to read indoors while the rain washes in - or those of us lucky enough to be jetting off for the summer holidays can take a book away with them to lounge with.
We also have some of the latest stories from our website, including how local people are leading the way in community sponsorship and an important article exploring the increase in measles across the UK (and Govanhill) and how you can protect yourself and your children from the virus.
We also have more information on our first ever Greater Govanhill Writers Meet-up early in June and a QR code below which takes you to our What’sApp Community for those who wish to join our writers group, or receive announcements on local happenings directly to your mobile!
Take care,
-Devon
