Get involved with the Govanhill clean up, info on candidates and hustings.. and help us reach our fundraising target!
Plus: all the latest from around the neighbourhood..
You might have already noticed that for the month of June we’ve been trying to raise funds to help support the work we do here at Greater Govanhill; from providing training and opportunities for residents, to producing a bi-monthly print edition of the magazine, and hosting or joining in local events, we are always trying to do our bit. But… we need your support, and as part of our fundraising efforts, your donation will be doubled this month only, thanks PINF’s Indie News Week Fund.
June is almost over, which means this is the last week in which any donation you make will be matched by the fund, so we’re doing one final push for fundraising! 👇
If we have made a positive impact on you in anyway, or if you like reading our magazine, please consider donating to our Crowdfunder 💛

You may have also noticed that we’ve been building a Citizen’s Agenda in the run-up to the general election…
We wanted to know what issues are most important to you this general election and build a Citizen's Agenda to make sure politicians are answering to their constituents, instead of setting their own agenda..
The survey has now closed and we’ve finalised a set of questions to put forward to Govanhill’s electoral candidates before the general election on 4 July. 🔒
We’ll be publishing all their responses soon. Thank you to everyone who took part!
